View Article  PITCH SIDE CHANGES

Over the next few weeks all parents will start to see pitch side changes with area's on both sides of the pitch coned off .

This is in response to new FA idea's , and also to avoid some of the more disappointing incidents creeping in junior football generally.

ALL PARENTS & SUPPORTERS are asked to stand behind the coned area , and respect the club's code of conduct which is in our Handbook . The Only personnel allowed inside the coned area will be the Manager & Subs of each team.

Referee's will be entitled to stop a game if this is not observed.

Moving supporters away from the touchline a few feet , will not stop their enjoyment of the game , and will allow the players more room to express themselves on the field of play. It will hopefully also discourage some of the tiny minority from making silly or offensive remarks, which unfortunately over the years we have all probably witnessed.

This is a problem that is effecting many clubs , and most are now also making these changes , so we thank you in advance for your understanding on this matter.

As a club we wish to promote fair play & enjoyment for the boys & girls ,.

Any parents , coaches or supporters making un-welcome comments will asked to leave so the 99.9% of people can enjoy Sunday morning football.

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR FAIR PLAY SCHEME !!!

The club "fun run " was again a great success ,with everyone having a great time.

The little one's did well to complete such a big course (1 Lap) with Charlie Hauxwell first home closely followed by Chrsitian Scott. Some of the little one's worn fancy dress with Pirate Charlie Longbottom taking first prize.

The Junior run was well supported particularly by the U12's with some fine individual efforts.

Frrst Home was Jamie Higgins U14 then Ben Cousen U12  followed by a spirted run from Jordan Haigh in third (U14).

The U16 boys managed to play football all the way round ,---well done !!!

Nathan Hooten (U15 ) out spirited Vice Chairman -Dave Roberts

The young age players U11 & U12 did fantastic considering the course was 2 Laps for the older one's.

Special mention to Ryan Van Leeuwan who gave everything great run & Jordan Kilty how's fnd raising efforts have put him pole position for winning most sponsorship so far.

Also thanks to helpers Andrea, Claire, Faye, Liz, Louanne, Dave, Ray & Shaun and not forgeting our official photograher Mr Scaramuzza.

When photo's and final sponsorship total is known we will announce on line
