View Article  Abusive behaviour
It has been brought to the attention of the Committee that the odd individual is still intent on abusing the referee .
Whilst we cannot always control visitors from other teams, Skelmanthorpe Parents are reminded of the Parents codes of conduct in your handbook. Also whilst this is related to the odd individual the Club will not fail to act to remove from the club continued offenders.

The Club supports the new FA Dont X the Line campaign , and all pitches will have coned areas , to move spectators a little way off the touchline.

We thank you the vast majority of our excellent parents / supporters for your understanding .

View Article  PITCH SIDE CHANGES

Over the next few weeks all parents will start to see pitch side changes with area's on both sides of the pitch coned off .

This is in response to new FA idea's , and also to avoid some of the more disappointing incidents creeping in junior football generally.

ALL PARENTS & SUPPORTERS are asked to stand behind the coned area , and respect the club's code of conduct which is in our Handbook . The Only personnel allowed inside the coned area will be the Manager & Subs of each team.

Referee's will be entitled to stop a game if this is not observed.

Moving supporters away from the touchline a few feet , will not stop their enjoyment of the game , and will allow the players more room to express themselves on the field of play. It will hopefully also discourage some of the tiny minority from making silly or offensive remarks, which unfortunately over the years we have all probably witnessed.

This is a problem that is effecting many clubs , and most are now also making these changes , so we thank you in advance for your understanding on this matter.

As a club we wish to promote fair play & enjoyment for the boys & girls ,.

Any parents , coaches or supporters making un-welcome comments will asked to leave so the 99.9% of people can enjoy Sunday morning football.

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR FAIR PLAY SCHEME !!!
